About me

From the time I could hold a crayon and transfer colour to paper, the creative urge enslaved me.
Doodling on the edges of exam papers and creating my own little booklets which friends could read, painting on fabric, flowerpots and silk…wherever there was a blank space I would feel the need to fill it.
It was by pure chance though that I became involved in illustration. Before I was asked to draw the pictures for a new maths textbook, art was merely a hobby. I never seriously considered using my passion for pictures as a means to make money.
How lucky am I then, that I can put bread on the table by doing something I enjoy…
